A recognized Director of Project Management and Construction Supervision Services and Architect specialized in Sustainability, with 20+ years of experience in Hospitality, Cultural Projects, Commercial projects and Landscape Parks in GCC.
Despina is a graduate from UWCC in 2000 and holds an MSc in Environmental Design of Buildings which she accomplished under the guidance of Dean Hawkes following receipt of EPSRC scholarship. Following 13 years of working under partnerships and having her own Architectural practice in Greece, Despina joined CCC in 2013 to complete the Presidential Palace of Abu Dhabi (MOPA).
Since then Despina has been involved in the most prestigious projects in UAE such as Dubai Opera House (EMAAR), Opera Grand Tower (EMAAR), the Hills & Vida residences (EMAAR), which finally let to her joining RMJM D3 one of the world’s leading Consultancies to become a Director of Project Management and Design Supervision Services having under her responsibility, UAE Pavilion, Luxembourg Pavilion, Emirates Airlines Pavilion of Expo 2020, Holiday Inn & Staybridge Suites Hotel Dubai South, Souq Extra Mall Silicon Oasis, DIFC retail and spine, Innovation Hub (Buildings, Parks, Infrastructure packages) and Forum El Djazair project (Algeria).
