TTZ team is proud to have redesigned the historic monument and urban reconversion of Laminor Hall in Bucharest, Romania. The factory spans over a century was one of the most important industrial complexes in the country.
With the concept of neighbourhood within the neighbhourhood, the design approach is to provide macroscale city experience in a micro cosmos. The use of human scale and traditional street proportions mirrors the organic growth of the city.
“The neighbourhood” is held by the exterior envelope that has been preserved, which includes the structure and frame, industrial patterns, concrete, brick and steel.
