The Aegean Mansion recreates the classical Cycladian village typology by breaking down the mass in partial integrated and combined volumes that protect and support each other in a human scale synthesis of cubistic volumes. The finishing materials express and concourse with the strong sun as well as with the recreated landscape. Having its birth in an always non flat environment with hard almost impossible to build topography this villa takes the notion of the hill on step forward and offers sequences of architectural event

Every space is a surprise, every shadow a blessing and the houses generate a multitude of social and solitary spaces for the user to enjoy. Central atriums recreate the notion of the small village welcoming square and unite the functions and the residents around them. The water element as always remains the final point of destination being present with its view or sound throughout the composition.
